General terms and conditions Hand van Staal BV
After placing the order, we will come to the location to measure the color samples and dimensions.
provided for inspection.
The customer must carefully check the type of product including colors and shapes.

Production time and installation is on average 2-4 weeks. Specific finishes
and/or special requests may result in a longer delivery time.
Our quotation excludes any demolition work, safety and
building facilities.
Construction (finishing/dismantling) work, painting,
Plasterwork and sealant work around the outside are not included in our quotes.
The mounting location must be accessible without the use of any
lifting equipment. Any lifting activities are not included in our quotes. In our statement we assume that parking is free and that electricity and sanitary facilities are available.
When assembling the facades, the client must ensure that there are no skirting boards on the walls and/or ceiling at the location where the facades are to be mounted. Unless expressly agreed otherwise. If any skirting boards must be removed for the assembly, handvanstaal.nl cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from the removal of the skirting boards.
Payment and delivery terms:
- 50% upon order. After receipt of this amount, production will be started.
- 50% prior to delivery and/or installation.
If the order is cancelled after approval of the quotation, we will charge 30% of the order amount.
If no one is present at the agreed time of the measuring appointment and the measuring appointment cannot take place, we will charge 150 euros for this.
If after measuring it appears that the dimensions of the project do not match what was quoted, we will include the corresponding price in the quotation.
Travel costs apply within the borders of the Netherlands. If it concerns an address outside the Netherlands, there may be an additional charge or HVS will advise to have the measuring and installation done by a local professional and/or handyman.
We do not carry out sealing and painting work on walls or ceilings. We do not repair unavoidable minor damage to walls or ceilings.
The assembly of the facades must be done in a suitable, square, set frame/sound construction environment. If this is not the case, there is a chance that the project cannot be installed or cannot be installed properly. handvanstaal.nl is not liable for this.
Please indicate in advance any existing power, water and/or gas pipes.
If damage occurs due to unindicated pipes, the damage can
not be recovered from us.
It is necessary to place the glass in a dust-free environment. The glass will
delivered as clean as possible, but when finishing the glass with the sealant, some contamination may remain, this is up to the client to clean. The curing time of the sealant is approx. 48 hours.
In the event of a collaboration, whether it concerns a bartel deal, high discount and other forms of collaboration in which the customer promotes Hand van Staal, Hand van Staal retains the privilege of invoicing the quotation if agreements are not met within 3 months after installation of the steel products.
The general terms and conditions of the Metaalunie apply to all our quotations and orders, and to all agreements concluded with us.
